Alberto earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin in 2013. While in law school, Mr. de la Torre worked to help the vulnerable immigrant population in Texas with the school's immigration clinic, served as a judicial intern at the Travis County Probate Court No. 1, and gained experience in criminal law as an intern at the Travis County Attorney's Office.
Immediately after law school, Mr. de la Torre completed a post-graduate fellowship with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), a non-profit specializing in the representation of immigrant minors in Seattle, Washington.
Mr. de la Torre currently focuses his practice in Social Security Disability. He speaks English and Spanish.
