Ms. Esther Alarcon participated in the Law School Preparation Institute Summer college program at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). In December of 2012, she graduated cum laude from UTEP. Before law school, she served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate and participated in the Encouraging More Positive Opportunities with Empathy and Respect (E.M.P.O.W.E.R.) program.
In May of 2016, Ms. Alarcon graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law. During law school, Esther was a Dean’s Community Teaching Fellow and assisted minorities who were interested in pursuing a legal career. Additionally, Esther became a qualified mediator in Texas and was awarded a pro bono award for completing over 35 hours of pro bono work during 2015.
